Hargrove Engineering, LLC, is a service disabled veteran owned small
business [SDVOSB] and minority business enterprise [MBE], that is a:
Hargrove Engineering, LLC has the goal of providing broad-scope technical
and management services, integrated systems and systems support to
government agencies, industry and community development organizations.
Our core competencies are focused on systems engineering and integration
services [SE&I]; architecture, engineering and construction management
[AEC], HAVC and plumbing solutions; technical engineering services [TES];
information and communications technology services [ICT]; environmental
and energy services (ESG), and; Research & Development (R&D).
Presidential Executive Order 13360
A key goal of Hargrove Engineering is to take advantage of Presidential
Executive Order 13360 which calls for a significant increase in federal
contracting and subcontracting opportunities for service-disabled veteran-
owned businesses.
The central feature of the Executive Order calls for all Federal agencies to
develop a strategic plan to significantly increase its contracting and
subcontracting with small businesses owned and controlled by service-
disabled veterans.
Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business
In addition as a service disabled veteran owned small business [SDVOSB]
Hargrove Engineering can take advantage of the Department of Veteran Affairs
which has unique buying authority (P.L. 109-461) that enables the 87 billion
dollar agency to set-aside purchases for Veteran-owned small businesses.
This legislation also provides VA teams with more latitude in non-competitive
contracting. Some businesses owned by surviving spouses are eligible for
the Verification Program. VA’s large prime contractors are required to use
businesses that have been officially verified for ownership and control
business [SDVOSB] and minority business enterprise [MBE], that is a:
